At the foot of the Mont Blanc, in the world capital of mountaineering, you find this wonderful chalet apartment. It's ideally located in Les Praz de Chamonix, directly opposite to the ski lift La Flégère and Golf Club de Chamonix. It's the starting point of some of the most beautiful and challenging hiking and biking trails.

We loved Nathalie’s cozy home! It was perfectly located 3 mins walk from a ski rental, the gondola to 2 of the resorts, local bakery / restaurants, and the bus stop to get into Chamonix center and the other resorts. The kitchen is well stocked, nice size living room with smart tv, and comfortable beds. Nathalie was a pleasure to communicate with. Would recommend to any family or group of friends!

Fantastic location right across the road from the ski lift and with some nice bars and restaurants down the road. The apartment itself was even nicer than expected in person, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped, perfect for relaxing after a long day's skiing! Nathalie was a fantastic host, very responsive and went the extra mile by providing travel cots for our kids. Will definitely be back!

A fabulous apartment in a brilliant location. Cannot recommend Nathalie’s place highly enough. Only a short walk from everything you’d need for a skiing holiday;  Warm, welcoming, well-equipped, and very comfy beds. Nathalie is a brilliant host and made every aspect stress-free. Can’t wait to come back!

We were thoroughly impressed. The location of the house was exactly as described and depicted in the photos - it was located just meters away from a ski lift and ski equipment rental location, making it super convenient for us to hit the slopes each day. There were also nice little shops and restaurants all around. The host is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Nathalie is the host with a very proactive attitude and helped us resolve a few issues quickly. Her apartment is a very bright and clean place in which you feel comfortable. I had a very good sleep there and despite being on workcation I manage to rest very well. My kids also enjoyed this place very much. In addition, very often you can read in the descriptions that the kitchen has everything you need but rarely it's true. This time it was true and cooking there was a pleasure. :)

Everything was amazing. Nathalie has thought about every single detail to make our stay more confortable. The location is also amazing since it’s very close to ski lifts and the city center. This beautiful chalet really felt like home, thanks to Nathalie and this wonderful place, we had one of our best trips. We feel very lucky to have been stayed in Nathalie's place as it was very cosy, and amazing in all aspects.. The interior design was also very nice. I recommend this place with all my heart. Apartment Les Praz de Chamonix is located in a quiet, rustic area of Chamonix. Chamonix centre is 5 minutes by car or bus and 10 minutes by bike. Or enjoy a beautiful 30 minutes walk along the river. The local bus stop and train station is at 2 minutes walking distance.

Apartment Les Praz de Chamonix lies at the foot of the ski runs and cable car of Brevent-Flégere ski area. It is also the perfect place for high alpine mountaineering and paragliding. The house is close to many cross-country ski trails. The forest is just a minute away, where you can start with some of the famous Chamonix hikes (you can even experience the last leg of the legendary UTMB route). Last, but not least, the house is opposite the beautiful golf course of Chamonix.

Wining, dining and music

Around the picturesque chapel you will find many special dining and wining experiences. Only a few minutes away you will find the wonderful  restaurant Le Castel, restaurant Eden and the beautiful authentic restaurant La Cabane.
 
Live music and après-ski can be found at the Le Petit Social bar. If you're tired of cooking and just want a delicious snack or take away, try the fresh D'LiCimes. The best way to start your mornings are the croissants of l'Epicerie (you find the best bread in town just 200 metres away).

Our rates are based on a maximum occupancy of 5 people and exclude end-cleaning and city tax. The minimum stay is 4 nights. Check-in time is from 16h00. Check-out is before 10h00. All rates are an indication, please contact us for the exact quotes.

Getting here and around

Getting around by public transport

 We care for our mountains, glaciers and forests,  therefore we encourage to leave your car at the parking space and walk or take a bus or train. Everything in Chamonix is well-connected. The Chamonix bus service stops 2 minutes from the house, it's free during the winter season. Chamonix centre is a pleasant walk along the river of approximately 4 kilometres.

Getting here by bus

All local, national and international lines stop at the bus station in Chamonix Sud.  
From there, local buses cross the entire valley and are free of charge during the winter. Line 1 (timetable)  and line 2 (timetable) stop close to the house.

Getting here by car

 From France
Take the A40 motorway "Route Blanche". Through out all seasons this highway is kept clear and offers direct access to Chamonix.
 From Switzerland
Take the motorway to Martigny, Col de la Forclaz, then choose Col des Montets.
From Italy
Take the motorway to Courmayeur, then travel 15 kilometres through the Mont Blanc tunnel.

Getting here by plane

The closest airport is Geneva International Airport, it's a 75-minute drive by car. There are many transport connections between Geneva airport and Chamonix, such as bus lines (Blablabus), shared transfers (Alpy Bus) and taxis. Here is an overview of various transport options.

Another airport is Lyon Saint-Exupéry International Airport, a 2-hour drive. The airport is served by a TGV station.
